Following the successful nationwide schools walkout on March 14 which saw more than a million students across the country protesting gun control in America - including hundreds of Carmel High School students - Carmel students arranged the second rally, and were joined by Brewster HS students.

"Today proves that students will not lose interest, we will not give up, and we will fight till change happens," said Anne Pozner, a Carmel High School student and one of the event's organizers. "Today was a call to action, today indicates we will never give up."
